Re-design, repair, swap: save money and the planet

Australia has a huge excess textile waste problem with about 200,000 tonnes going to landfill every year!! There are many ways to make those clothes and textiles last longer. At Pat and Jeans Place we show you how to re-design, repair or swap textiles, as well as coffee, snacks on the third Saturday of the month, 2 to 4pm, at The Eco Living Centre, Ridge Drive, Wyndham Vale, Vic 3024 We show you also how to use more natural textiles around the house. Are you concerned about the level of microplastics in your blood & on your food? We sell natural products for the home, such as beeswax food wraps, cotton dish cloths, & we have kits so you can make at home. Our workshops are in person or online. We also offer: * Repair and Alterations, see price list on button below * Creative Fashion Upcycle Design Course- in person and on-line and * Making textiles around the home to reduce your plastics on your food course- on-line using our kits or have your own materials ready.

Children's parties
Wanting a plastic free party and kids learn a new skill? Pat and Jeans Place's do customisable recycling textile parties from hair bands, accessories or toys. Themes are negotiable. All materials provided so they take home. Location is The Eco Living Centre, Wyndham Vale, VIC at only $29 each child with drink and snack. Minimum 10 children and maximum 20 children. Families can bring their own food but must be plastic free. We have small plates. Parking available & children's play park nearby.

Creative Fashion Design and Textile Workshops
Learn a new skill with recycling into natural cloths, vegetable bags or other. Did you know 'a 45 year old will have about 0.5% of its brains weight in microplastics!! Reduce the plastics on your food We sell these products, have kits or come to a workshop in person or online. We have workshops on * Creative Fashion Upcycle Design Course- Thursday evening at the centre - 8 weeks course $200 * Home textiles course- Tuesday on-line using our kits or own tools and materials 8 weeks: $80
